Job Description
|
Develop and implement EAI marketing strategy in support of EAI Strategic Forum and EAI Community activities, programs and initiatives. Proactively manage full marketing mix, including advertising, search engine and data base optimization, promotion, events, exhibits/events, social media and public relations. Develops marketing plans for programs, products and services to: attain sales and profitability goals; generate leads; increase visibility and relevance of the EAI; raise brand awareness; increase engagement; and create ongoing interest in EAI activities. Provides leadership to the marketing team with marketing guidance to stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and branding, and alignment of marketing activities to the EAI Strategic Marketing Plan and to the overarching EAI Strategic Plan. Develops thorough understanding of the EAI business, including knowledge of the advocacy, strategic planning, community special interests and consensus building environment, the competitive environment, audience/member, products/services and major initiatives. Well versed in and have hands-on experience in the full range of marketing methodologies and techniques. Develop and manage the execution of marketing communications plans and tactics in support of EAI strategic objectives and community related activities using full communications mix, venues and tools. Manage the: development and maintenance of EAI public website and the development of collateral marketing materials in support of both EAI Strategic Forum and EAI Community. Provide advice, consultation and assistance to other EAI groups regarding their marketing and communication needs. Manage the EAI Communitys overall exhibit & patron sponsorship program and related activities in concert with SIB Program Development & Operations Managers. Develop, manage and implement EAI visual identity guidelines across the EAI organization. Development of the EAI strategic marketing plan and will assist with the development of EAI brand messaging. Manage development and maintenance of marketing and communications tools to help manage marketing operations. Track and analyze sales and marketing campaigns and promotional performance to manage profitability of the EAI marketing initiatives while responsible for reports on marketing and communications performance, marketing finances and overall marketing ROI. Manage relationships with vendors and between multiple constituents across the EAI to balance demands and priorities and develop strong relationships with internal colleagues and external communities.

Technical Skills
|
Bachelors Degree in marketing, communications or social sciences. Advance degree of the above disciplines is preferred.
Approximately 3 - 5 years in the workforce managing marketing programs.
Creative problem solver with strong entrepreneurial, diplomatic and financial management skills.
Familiar with regional business practices and cultural sensitivities related to international events.
Ability to listen and communicate effectively in a very responsive, clear, comprehensive and tactful manner; verbal and written.
Ability to plan, execute and improve work processes to ensure objectives and deliverables are met.
Demonstrated experience with the various marketing genres and methodologies, and implementing best practices.
Demonstrated experience in driving the development and execution of marketing plans that generate revenue, increase visibility and support branding.
Demonstrated experience interpreting disparate data sources and working with business stake holders to understand market audience objectives to translate into effective marketing plans.
Demonstrated ingenuity, diplomacy and resourcefulness.
Superior written and oral communications skills mandatory.
Must be a technology savvy while seeking technology solutions to business challenges and processes.
Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Office, marketing and databases applications with familiarity with website applications/programs, including Web 2.0 and social media.
