Régis Saint-Paul

Régis Saint-Paul is a researcher in the Networks and Services group at CREATE-NET, a research center located in Trento, Italy. Prior to joining CREATE-NET, he spent two years as a research associate in the Sofware Oriented Computing (SOC) group at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, Australia, and served one year as assistant lecturer at the Polytechnic School of the University of Nantes, France. He received an M.S. and a Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Nantes. He also holds a software engineering and mathematics degree from the University of Lille (France) and a Master in Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from AUDENCIA business school (Nantes, France). He co-founded and was for 12 years the managing director of "Interfaces", a french company specialized in orthodontic softwares. His research interests include Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), database systems, data mining, data summarization, end-user programming and graphical user interfaces. He is a member of IEEE, IEEE Computer Society, ICST, the ACM and the MAA.
